The SOTT Team Goes To Rennes-les-Bains (13 of 74)

Just before we enter the village of Rennes-les-Bains, there are the ancient baths. Beside the baths there is a marker, "Le Meridienne Verte". This marks the line of the former "Prime Meridian" which also ran through Paris. The Paris Meridian is also called the ROSE-LINE by some. Rennes Les Bains is due south of Paris on the Paris Meridian (0 deg). The church of St. Sulpice in Paris also has marker placed on the Paris Meridian.
