At some point in my hunt for records and any scrap of verifiable information about Knights, and most particularly, John Knight of Effingham GA, I came across this note somewhere online:
John Knight RS b 1750 (m Frances Newsom ) She is buried in Union Primitive Baptist Church cemetery, Berrien Co., Ga. She was born ca 1753 & died ca 1840 in Wayne County,Ga.
That prompted me to check the cemetery listings for that location with the results displayed below:

Having checked out the Union Primitive Baptist Church cemetery, it occurred to me that I should check other Knight burials in GA, which I did, with the following results, though I've eliminated anyone born in the 20th century.
