Collective Delusional Processes in U.S. Society

“The elephants in the room are that the U.S. and the World have big problems that neither party is going to do anything about.”

Collective Delusional Processes in U.S. Society

It was Andrew Lobaczewski, author of Political Ponerology: A Science on the Nature of Evil Adjusted for Political Purposes, who first presented the concept that, throughout history, pathological personalities have taken over societies and caused unimaginable destruction. Needless wars have caused untold millions of needless deaths and trillions of dollars in destruction. He characterized this process as political and macro-social evil in a scientifically measurable way.

Lobaczewski presented a process that begins with visionaries whose ideas are corrupted by a cascade of personalities, all deficient in character, ending in psychopaths taking the helm and guiding the society to war, destruction, and eventual collapse. Most of us think of psychopaths as being mostly criminals who end up in jail, but Lobaczewski shows that they actually are capable of leading us, at least when they are born into privilege.

Lobaczewski also describes how the rest of society largely goes along with this, and this is the subject of this article.

Throughout history societies have acquiesced, rationalized, and actually participated in the process of placing and supporting evil people in control of societies ultimately resulting in collapse. He used the term “hysteria,” meaning irrational and even delusional thought processes to describe this process, and he often used the example of Europe during the first half of the 20th century to illustrate this. The outright denial of the Holocaust by much of German society even while it was going on illustrates his point.

Examples of what can be termed the “ponerization process” in the U.S. go way back. While writing the words to the Declaration of Independence which contained phraseology such as “All men are created equal with certain inalienable rights…,” Thomas Jefferson owned over 200 slaves; but to this day you will not find this fact in public school history books. It is an inconvenient truth, so it is ignored, denied, and largely not believed. When confronted with irrefutable proof, many Americans will rationalize this fact. These sorts of irrational acts and thoughts cannot go on without the illogical buy-in of the people of a society. This is an example of mass hysteria that is with us today and permeates the entire society.

Protest turns into riot as 120,000 take to Paris streets to demand President’s resignation

The international media has clearly bought the French government line about dissent in France being predominantly the ‘work of right-wing extremists’. It’s not. The French, as a whole, are simply sick of the unbelievable taxes, constant inroads into freedom and human rights, and general overall oppression.

Clashes have broken out during anti-government protests in France. Thousands of people took to the streets of Paris in a “Day of Anger” against a host of policies introduced by President Francois Hollande.

An anti-government protest in Paris ended in violence on Sunday when police used tear gas to disperse several hundreds youths throwing bottles, fireworks, iron bars and dustbins.

Police said at least 150 people were arrested and 12 police officers were injured in the clashes.

According to official figures at least 17,000 people carrying banners saying “The French are angry” marched through central Paris in a mass rally against the embattled president Francois Hollande.

Organizers put the turnout at around 120,000.

Mainly right-wing

Around 50 small and mainly right-wing organizations were behind Sunday’s march, which they said was a response to a slew of new policies introduced under Hollande, including a law introduced last year allowing gay marriage.

They also cited France’s struggling economy and high unemployment, its taxes, their housing needs and lack of personal freedoms, with some calling for France’s exit from the European Union.

“Today they are taking our money from all sides. There are new taxes all the time. We have had enough!” said protester Johan Bonnain.

Hollande, who polls say is France’s most unpopular president of modern times, recently announced plans for 50 billion euros ($68 billion) in spending cuts between 2015 and 2017 to revive the nation’s embattled economy.

Mystifying ‘Light Pillars’ shine in Ohio

This is awesome… but another “sign” that our planet and atmosphere is changing dramatically and FAST.

Mansfield – On a clear and cold night, beams of light appeared to be coming from the ground and shooting skyward.

Fox 8 News viewers captured the phenomenon in Mansfield late Tuesday and early Wednesday.

Senior meteorologist on extended USA cold blast to last past Groundhog day: ‘WOW F..ing WOW’

Normally quiet and reserved WeatherBell senior forecaster Joe D’Aleo (co-founder of the Weather Channel with John Coleman) almost never writes (email subject lines) like this. When he does, it gets my attention. A new forecast shows the cold blast in the eastern half of the USA extending well past Groundhog Day, Feb 2nd, according to their models. WeatherBell has had an excellent track record this winter so far. He says he hasn’t seen anything like it since 1918 when the big flu pandemic hit the USA.

Sott Talk Radio: Surviving the Psy-pocalypse: Interview with Stefan Verstappen

Very important discussion. And yes, we do go into weather catastrophes. Bottom line is that preparation is preparation. You prepare for the worst, hope for the best, and deal with what comes (only if you are prepared to). So y’all quit saying that nobody is “telling us what to do”. There’s plenty of advice out there.

This week we’re talking to Stefan Verstappen, Canadian writer, artist, and martial arts expert living in China. Verstappen has a professional background in communications and business management. Since embarking on his travels throughout East Asia, Verstappen has studied oriental art, culture and Kung Fu.

This world traveller is also one of the few people who understands that psychopaths rule our world. Creator of the viral YouTube video documentary ‘Defense Against the Psychopath‘, based on his book The Art of Urban Survival: A Family Safety and Self Defense Manual, Verstappen has lots to share, not only about defending ourselves from the predators in our midst, but also natural disasters and social breakdown.

Wannabe dictator Obama Claims “I’ve got a pen” as he vows to legislate via Executive Order

I have close friends who believed in Obama; I didn’t, and I warned them. I’m not happy about being right. If Obama was actually different from Bush – who the repugnicans supported wholeheartedly – then he would have done things like close Gitmo and put a few other things back to rights, like vetoing the renewal of the Patriot Act and so forth. He could also have brought some people to justice who needed it, and more. He didn’t and this farcical “congressional gridlock” plays out to make us think that it is actually “another party” in power. It isn’t, it’s all a drama.

Wannabe dictator Obama Claims “I’ve got a pen” as he vows to legislate via Executive Order

If this isn’t one of the creepier things you’ve seen in a while, then I don’t know what to tell you. Obama’s emotional expressions in this clip are one of a man who has been utterly defeated following several years of rampant cronyism and epic public failures. As such, it seems as if he is prepared to step up further to the “wanna be dictator” plate and just start doing whatever he wants via executive orders.

I mean, why even bother pretending to have a Congress at this point? Hasn’t this guy done enough harm…

Global Scaling, Alan Turing and Quantum Enigma

My husband is at it again, only this time, the topic is rather grim – people die when they figure out some things.

Global Scaling, Alan Turing and Quantum Enigma

There may exist technologies that are dangerous to know. Perhaps not just “to know”, but rather “to sell”. Quite often we read about “free energy” and/or “instant communication” technologies. There is usually some kind of a scam involved nearby. That does not necessarily mean that there is nothing but scam. What is true and what is not – that’s the million dollar question. Hartmut Müller’s “Global Scaling” is one such example, as we will see below.

Usually there is some kind of a “theory” going around, a “theory” that tries to package the claims of those who patent, produce and try to sell extraordinary gadgets into attractive and colorful shiny boxes. Without a theory, who will buy them? The same, or almost the same gadget can be wrapped up in different theories in different parts of the world. These theories more often than not claim to be based on some mathematics and some physics. Since I am both, a little bit of a mathematician and a little bit of a physicist, trying to be rationally irrational and open-minded, I like to read all the “strange” stuff that I can find. And what I read, I share.

Just before Christmas I ordered a book by A. G. Parkhomov “Earth, Cosmos, Man” – only available in Russian – so it’s a lucky thing that I learned to speak and read Russian almost before I learned my mother tongue, Polish. I hope to write more about Parkhomov’s exciting research on nuclear phenomena after studying his book. But it is only this morning that I received an email telling me that the book has been shipped. Therefore I had to change my plans and reschedule my posting of articles in this series. Which is not that difficult because there are lots of exciting new things that happen every day and that are worth sharing.
