Scientists stumble across the obvious treatment for Ebola: tobacco

A cocktail of antibodies cooked up in tobacco plants may provide an emergency treatment for Ebola virus, one of the deadliest viruses known, researchers reported Wednesday.

The treatment provides 100 percent protection to monkeys when given right after exposure. But it also helps even after symptoms develop, the researchers report in the journal Science Translational Medicine.

The biggest threat to humanity, far bigger than global warming/climate change, is about to get bigger, much bigger

I’ve been predicting this for quite a few years now: comets/asteroids and an ice age. People could have been getting prepared but now it’s pretty much too late. Oh, did I forget to mention plague with 80% or higher mortality rate? Been saying that, too.

The biggest threat to humanity, far bigger than global warming/climate change, is about to get bigger, much bigger

This Earth Day, Tuesday, April 22, three former NASA astronauts will present new evidence that our planet has experienced many more large-scale asteroid impacts over the past decade than previously thought… three to ten times more, in fact. A new visualization of data from a nuclear weapons warning network, to be unveiled by B612 Foundation CEO Ed Lu during the evening event at Seattle’s Museum of Flight, shows that “the only thing preventing a catastrophe from a ‘city-killer’ sized asteroid is blind luck.”

Considering the recent Ebola outbreak (“Broken through all containment efforts”) and cases suspected in Pisa, Italy, things might be about to get VERY interesting. Hope folks have been getting keto adapted.

No reason at all to limit saturated fat in the diet according to the largest most comprehensive review

Mainstream science is finally admitting they got it all wrong – but millions upon millions of people are suffering the consequences of corrupt/junk science. Maybe some consequences would teach them to be more careful and not use humanity as a big experiment.

No reason at all to limit saturated fat in the diet according to the largest most comprehensive review

Conventional nutritional advice varies a bit depending on who you ask, but there are a few constants. One is the importance of limiting saturated fat in favour of polyunsaturated fat. Most Governments, doctors and dieticians would therefore have us eschew foods such as red meat, dairy products and butter in favour of vegetable oils, oily fish and margarine.

This week saw the publication of the largest and most comprehensive review to assess the relationship between specific dietary fats and heart health, as well as the evidence for the supposed benefits of supplementing the diet with polyunsaturated fats [1]. The study was carried out by researchers from the University of Cambridge and MedicalResearchCouncil,University of Oxford, Imperial College London, University of Bristol, Erasmus University Medical Centre and Harvard School of Public Health, and was partly funded by the British Heart Foundation.

The study brought together two types of evidence:

1. Epidemiological evidence

Evidence where associations between different fats in the diet and risk of heart disease were assessed.

This sort of evidence itself came in two types:

a. studies where associations between dietary intake of specific fats and heart disease were assessed

b. studies where associations between body levels of specific fats (e.g. as measured in the blood) and heart disease were assessed

2. Randomised controlled trials

Where individuals were treated with specific dietary fats to see what effect this had on heart disease risk over time.

45 epidemiological and 27 randomised controlled trials were pooled in this review. The total number of subjects involved in these studies was more than 650,000.

Here’s a summary of the results:

Epidemiological studies of dietary fat and heart disease risk:

Saturated fats – No association

Monounsaturated fats – No association

Omega-3 fats – No association

Omega-6 fats – No association

Trans fatty acids – Increased risk

Epidemiological studies of body levels of specific fats and heart disease risk:

Saturated fat – No association other than one specific type of saturated fat (margaric acid) that was associated with reduced risk

Monounsaturated fat – No association

Omega-3 fats – Reduced risk

Omega-6 fats – No association other than arachidonic acid (found in meat, eggs and dairy products) which was associated with reduced risk

Trans fatty acids – No association

Randomised controlled trials of supplementation with:

Alpha-linolenic acid (a type of omega-3 fat found in plants including flaxseed/linseed) – No reduction in risk

Omgea-3 fats such as those found in oily fish – No reduction in risk

Omega-6 fats such as those found in vegetable oils – No reduction in risk

The authors of the review conclude:

…the pattern of findings from this analysis did not yield clearly supportive evidence for current cardiovascular guidelines that encourage high consumption of polyunsaturated fatty acids and low consumption of saturated fats. Nutritional guidelines on fatty acids and cardiovascular guidelines may require reappraisal to reflect the current evidence.

Should we be surprised?

Are you inflamed over GMO foods?

Everything you need to know about GMO and your health. It’s not smoking that is causing the dramatic increase in cancer, heart disease and diabetes.

Are you inflamed over GMO foods?

Several years ago the general public was completely unaware of GMOs and GE foods (genetically modified organisms or genetic engineering), but today the topic is becoming rather well known, thanks to growing education and alternative media coverage. The general public is becoming better informed about the potential harms and health issues associated with biotechnology and bioengineered foods, but the smoke and mirrors the mega-corporations use to obfuscate deeper understanding of the dangers inherent in such ‘mad science’ increases in tandem with growing awareness.

Ok, so a lot of people know they are eating GMO’s and what they are, but the real question is: are GMOs actually safe, as proponents and supporters of biotechnology claim, or are they not? Should we be worried about the long-term health and environmental effects of genetically altered foods? In the following article I hope to present clear evidence and data for stating very definitively: YES! We should be very concerned!

As an organic farmer, agriculture consultant and researcher, I became interested in the GMO issue over seven years ago, particularly their effects on the soil and the contamination or mutation of various plant species. ‘Connecting the dots’, so to speak, it dawned on me how serious this issue is, not just in terms of the environmental effects of GMOs, but also the consequences of eating GMO foods for human health.

A very disturbing picture began to emerge.

As I realized that this ‘genetic engineering’ is essentially a mad science, I joined a local group called ‘Seeds of Truth‘. We began meeting weekly to discuss how to get the word out about the growing takeover of Hawaii’s agricultural lands by several biotechnology corporations.

What’s Wi-Fi doing to us? Experiment finds that shrubs die when placed next to wireless routers

WIFI and cell phones are super evil! Avoid! Only use your cell if you have to travel. Get landlines and cables… you’ll be glad you did. And check all the additional story links at the bottom of this article!

What’s Wi-Fi doing to us? Experiment finds that shrubs die when placed next to wireless routers

A group of schoolgirls claims to have made a scientific breakthrough that shows wifi signals could damage your health – by experimenting with cress.

In a twist on the traditional science project of growing cress on a paper plate, the 15-year-olds set out to test whether mobile phone signals could be harmful.

They say the result could affect millions of people around the world.

Pupil Lea Nielsen said: ‘We all thought we experienced concentration problems in school if we slept with our mobile phones at the bedside, and sometimes we also found it difficult sleeping.’

However, because they were not able to monitor their brain activity at their school in Denmark, they chose to monitor plants near wireless routers, which emit similar radio waves to mobile phones.

When the girls grew trays of garden cress next to wifi routers, they found that most of the seedlings died.

In the experiment, they placed six trays in a room without any equipment and another six trays in a room next to two routers.

Over 12 days many of the seedlings in the Wi-Fi room turned brown and died, whereas those in the others room thrived.

Scientific junk! Study claims high fat diet contributes to breast cancer

Corn oil is toxic to the liver, kidneys and other organs, and increases the risk of cancer. Shame on them for using Big Agra’s toxic oils and then blaming its effects on healthy animal fats! This is another case of really bad science. But wait! Both of the study groups were eating corn oil, yet only one of them got the breast cancer. What gives? … the real results of this study are “Standard American Diet Causes Breast Cancer!” That should also have been the title of the Science Daily article!

Brain Researchers: Smoking increases intelligence

Brain Researchers: Smoking increases intelligence

Positive effects of nicotine on the brain’s performance is now confirmed by the Danish nicotine research at the Panum Institute in Copenhagen. We can now add another piece to the puzzle which clearly shows that smoking increases the intelligence. According to an interview with brain scientist, Professor Albert Gjedde in Ekstra Bladet.

Albert Gjedde, along with two colleagues started with nicotine tests, according to Gjedde clearly shows that if a heavy smoker suddenly stops smoking, then it bears negative consequences on his brain activity.

“The energy metabolism of oxygen in the brain decreases. This means, that one’s thinking capacity is also decreased. But if you start smoking again, so does the energy sales at the usual level, “he says. Albert Gjedde explains in the interview that a number of now concluded studies that smoking increases intelligence:

If you have to explain the concept of intelligence, it is in fact the ability to make sensible choices – to anticipate future challenges. And this is where nicotine can help” …

Research shows that tobacco simply increases the brain’s capacity for work – both the speed, endurance and concentration. The effect is also using nicotine gum and patches, but not nearly the same strength as smoking. The reason is that when nicotine is inhaled through the smoke, then it hits the brain quickly & efficiently – in seconds – and gives it a “kick”. The effect lasts for 25-60 minutes.

So that’s why the elites want the masses to stop smoking while they continue puffing away!

‘World No Tobacco Day’? Let’s All Light Up!

When we connect the dots through medicine, science, history, psychology and sociology, the truth emerges plain as day: the all-out global propaganda campaign against tobacco is part of the same push for ‘full-spectrum dominance’ over humanity in all other spheres. The targets and victims of the fake ‘War on Terror’ are the same targets of the war against tobacco. We are expected to believe that our wonderful ‘leaders’ encourage us to eat poisonous GMO food yet are oh, so concerned about the alleged health effects from smoking? Give us a break!

And so, in the spirit of resistance against the psychopaths’ war on humanity, liberty and true health… Let’s All Light Up!

SOTT Talk Radio: Nora Gedgaudas Interview: Beyond Paleo – Primal Ice Age Diet

Nora Gedgaudas Interview: Beyond Paleo – Primal Ice Age Diet

This week on SOTT Talk Radio we’ll be talking to nutritional therapist, speaker and educator Nora Gedgaudas. Widely recognized as an expert on the ‘Paleo Diet’, Nora maintains a private practice in Portland, Oregon as both a Board-Certified nutritional consultant and a Board-Certified clinical Neurofeedback Specialist.

Nora is also the author of the best-seller Primal Body, Primal Mind: Beyond the Paleo Diet for Total Health and a Longer Life, a book that is changing the way people view their diet and health.

Examining the healthy lives of our pre-agricultural Paleolithic ancestors and contrasting it with the marked decline humanity has undergone in the Agricultural Age, up to and including today’s epidemic ‘diseases of civilization’, Nora’s book shows how our modern grain- and carbohydrate-heavy low-fat diets are a far cry from the high-fat, moderate-protein hunter-gatherer diets we are genetically programmed for.

Applying the latest scientific discoveries to the basic hunter-gatherer diet forged in the last Ice Age, Nora’s message is that a real alternative is available: a holistic, ‘paleo’ lifestyle that is helping thousands of people to break the negative feedback loop of poor diet and poor health.

Smoking: The black lung lie

Smoking: The black lung lie

Dr. Duane Carr – Professor of Surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, said this: “Smoking does not discolor the lung.”

Dr. Victor Buhler, Pathologist at St. Joseph Hospital in Kansas City: “I have examined thousands of lungs both grossly and microscopically. I cannot tell you from examining a lung whether or not its former host had smoked.”

Dr. Sheldon Sommers, Pathologist and Director of Laboratories at Lenox Hill Hospital, in New York: “…it is not possible grossly or microscopically, or in any other way known to me, to distinguish between the lung of a smoker or a nonsmoker. Blackening of lungs is from carbon particles, and smoking tobacco does not introduce carbon particles into the lung.”

This was confirmed by Dr Jan Zeldenrust, a Dutch pathologist for the Government of Holland from 1951 – 1984. In a television interview in the 1980′s he stated that, translated from Dutch, “I could never see on a pair of lungs if they belonged to a smoker or non-smoker. I can see clearly the difference between sick and healthy lungs. The only black lungs I’ve seen are from peat-workers and coal miners, never from smokers”.
