Scientists: Creativity part of ‘mental illness’

Perfectly logical. Psychopaths have no creativity so they must label normal people who are creative, “mentally ill”!

Scientists: Creativity part of ‘mental illness’

If you like to express yourself through painting, writing, or any other form of artistic action, scientists now say that you must be suffering from a mental illness of some kind. In a new display of how truly insane the mainstream medical health paradigm has become, mainstream media outlets are now regurgitating the words of ‘experts’ who say that those who are creative are actually, more often than not, mentally ill.

After all, more than 50% of the United States is, by definition of the psychiatrists of the nation, mentally ill. Even questioning the government is considered a mental disorder. It should come as no surprise to know that upwards of 70% of the psychiatrists who write the conditions are – of course – on the payroll of those who produce the drugs to ‘treat’ the conditions. It should also therefore come as no surprise to note that the DSM (the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, which is the foundation of the entire diagnosis system) now contains over 900 pages of bogus disorders.

And perhaps creativity may soon be added to the massive textbook, which labels people who are shy, eccentric, or have unconventional romantic lives as mentally ill.

Is it any wonder that the 4th edition of the manual, which added hundreds of new ways to diagnose patients, led to a 40 times increase in bipolar disorder diagnoses. Even the lead editor of the DSM-IV Allen Frances, MD, has stated the book is utter nonsense:

“There is no definition of a mental disorder. It’s bull****. I mean, you just can’t define it,” he said.

Boston Marathon bombing: More justification for repression and endless global war of terror

Boosting fear and paranoia to reinforce the global police state.

Boston Marathon bombing: More justification for repression and endless global war of terror

We might never learn the motive behind the Boston Marathon bomb attack on Monday, April 15, which is reported to have killed three people and injured more than 170. It could be as simple as an unhinged individual going postal on tax day or a sinister message to Americans from a foreign national illustrating the proverb “You can run, but you can’t hide.” In any case, the improvised explosive devices (IED) were amateurish and ineffective at causing maximum casualty. According to investigators, the crude IED were made from rigged pressure cookers loaded with gunpowder, nails plus ball bearings, and triggered by egg timers. The clumsy work suggests an unbalanced individual rather than an organization. Nevertheless, all day Monday and Tuesday the United States and world media talked about a “terrorist attack,” and the story became the only story. What matters more, however, is the way the incident will be exploited worldwide by policy makers and their media sycophants.

Dollars and Sense: The Collapse and Emergence of Eras

Fascinating. I would say that there is a correlation with cometary activity.

The collapse of the present era and economy was predicted by Professor David Hackett Fisher in his book, The Great Wave. Such collapses have happened for the past 800 years. Another collapse is underway and a new and better world is coming.

Should women with gluten sensitivity breast feed?

Good question. What happens if your baby is gluten sensitive and you are eating gluten laden products and don’t know about the baby’s sensitivity?

Should women with gluten sensitivity breast feed?

Everything You Know About Longevity Is Wrong

Some real surprises here that overturn the “accepted wisdom”.

5. Religious People Live Longer

6. Workaholics Die Younger

7. Pet Owners Live Longer

Police discover hidden underground tunnels used by the homeless in Kansas

It’s a disgrace that people are driven to live like this when their governments encourage the rich to get richer and cut off aid to the poor on top of making the middle class even poorer.

Police discover hidden underground tunnels used by the homeless in Kansas

During a routine crime investigation, Kansas City police discovered a series of underground dirt tunnels being used by the city’s homeless. Local affiliate KMBC was on hand for the discovery when newscasters accompanied Kansas City Police Officer Jason Cooley, who was leading an investigation of stolen copper wiring from a nearby grain mill. While checking on the seemingly ordinary homeless campsites, Cooley discovered a series of tunnels that went several feet under the earth and stretched nearly 25 feet. “It was kind of in a little hill and probably four feet beneath the surface,” Cooley told the Kansas City Star.

SOTT Talk Radio: Good Science, Bad Science – Psychology and Psychiatry

This was a good one – we even went into overtime!

SOTT Talk Radio: Good Science, Bad Science – Psychology and Psychiatry

In this second in our series of shows on the topic of science and its benefits and negative consequences for mankind, we took a look at the use and abuse of psychiatry and psychology.

From the psychotherapist’s chair to anti-depressant drugs and diverse therapeutic modalities, psychiatry and psychology have come up with as many solutions for mental health issues as there are theories of what makes people tick.

While many individuals have benefited from some form of intervention or another, the application of psychological knowledge for propaganda purposes, mind control experiments and pure corporate greed has apparently left most people’s psychological health more fragile than ever.

This week, we attempted to sort the good from the bad and the ugly by ‘psychoanalyzing’ some of the questionable practices and theories of the mind, and untangling the confusion produced by psychological terminology that frequently overlaps the same basic underlying problems people encounter in our stressful modern world.

The Weight of Chains

This is a stunning film. Please watch and share. Many lessons for all.

“The Weight of Chains” is a Canadian documentary film that takes a critical look at the role that the US, NATO and the EU played in the tragic breakup of a once peaceful and prosperous European state – Yugoslavia. The film, bursting with rare stock footage never before seen by Western audiences, is a creative first-hand look at why the West intervened in the Yugoslav conflict, with an impressive roster of interviews with academics, diplomats, media personalities and ordinary citizens of the former Yugoslav republics.  The film began with production in late 2009 in several cities throughout Canada including Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto, continued in early 2010 in the United States – Columbus, Dayton, New York and Washington, and was finalized in the Summer of 2010 in Slovenia – Ljubljana; Croatia – Vukovar, Djakovo, Jasenovac, Zagreb, Gospic, Knin; Bosnia-Herzegovina – Sarajevo, Trebinje; Serbia – Belgrade, Subotica, Kosovska Mitrovica, Trepca, Pristina, Orahovac, Prizren and Strpce. “The Weight Of Chains” was completed in October 2010

The director of this film, Boris Malagurski, has made several films to date, the last one being “Kosovo | Can You Imagine?”, a controversial documentary exposing how remaining Serbs in Kosovo have little or no basic human rights, which won several awards on film festivals around the world and was broadcasted as well. “The Weight Of Chains” presents a Canadian perspective on Western involvement in the division of the ethnic groups within Yugoslavia and show that the war was forced from outside – regular people wanted peace. However, extreme fractions on all sides, fuelled by their foreign mentors, outvoiced the moderates and even ten years after the last conflict – the hatred remains and people continue spreading myths of what really happened in the 1990s. Why did all this happen?  This film will also present positive stories from the war – people helping each other regardless of their ethnic background, stories of bravery and self-sacrifice. The aim is to come up with a powerful weapon that people who are against war and hatred can use as a collection of good arguments in their favor. The disunity among peoples populating the Balkans have marked the last couple of centuries. Let’s start a new page, today, in the 21st century.

The Wicked Witch is Dead: Margaret Thatcher’s toxic legacy – public division and unfettered corporate greed

Maggie the psychopath. Her legacy is of public division, private selfishness and a cult of greed, which together shackle far more of the human spirit than they ever set free. She was a psychopath whose pernicious influence spread through society, embodying the destructive principle from the top down. As for the ‘kinder, more cohesive face’ that succeeded her, Tony Blair was worse than Thatcher… Britain, like the U.S. and elsewhere, is truly in the death grip of a bunch of toxic psychopaths.

The Wicked Witch is Dead: Margaret Thatcher’s toxic legacy – public division and unfettered corporate greed

In the last analysis, though, her stock in trade was division. By instinct, inclination and effect she was a polariser. She glorified both individualism and the nation state, but lacked much feeling for the communities and bonds that knit them together. When she spoke, as she often did, about “our people”, she did not mean the people of Britain; she meant people who thought like her and shared her prejudices. She abhorred disorder, decadence and bad behaviour but she was the empress ruler of a process of social and cultural atomism that has fostered all of them, and still does.

The Psycho-Therapeutic school system: Pathologizing childhood

Presently, we’re at an all-time high of eleven percent of all school-aged children in America who have been classified as mentally ill.

The Psycho-Therapeutic school system: Pathologizing childhood

According to a recent report by the Centers for Disease Control, a staggering 6.4 million American children between the ages of 4 and 17 have been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), whose key symptoms are inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity – characteristics that most would consider typically childish behavior. High school boys, an age group particularly prone to childish antics and drifting attention spans, are particularly prone to being labeled as ADHD, with one out of every five high school boys diagnosed with the disorder.
